January 27,2009 <br /> AGREEMENT AMENDED—LEGISLATIVE MATTERS/FEDERAL <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No.2 to the <br /> professional services agreement with McBee Strategic Consulting, <br /> LLC to provide consulting services regarding legislative matters, <br /> primarily at the federal level. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Roberts who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT AMENDED—LEGISLATIVE MATTERS/STATE AND <br /> REGIONAL <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher,seconded by Council <br /> Member Nielsen to authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No.2 to <br /> the professional services agreement with Doug Levy doing business <br /> as Outcomes by Levy to provide consulting services regarding <br /> legislative matters primarily at the state and regional level. <br /> Council Member Gipson brought forth a concern that this position should <br /> bean in-house position. <br /> Pat McClain stated he would take it into consideration and does watch for <br /> this type of expertise. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher voiced that it puts the city in a stronger <br /> position having someone that represents other cities as well. <br /> Roll was <br /> called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> MemberRoberts who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> • <br /> 28 <br />
