1 <br /> April 29,2009 <br /> Ms.MCGoudy presented anof the update process and <br /> discussed some of the issues PSRC is faring as they update the regional <br /> transportation plan. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Nielsen reported that he attended the Historical <br /> Commission meeting last evening and learned that the Washington State <br /> Historical Society Board of Trustees will be recognizing David Dilgard and <br /> Margaret Riddle with that society's highest award,the Robert Grey Medal, <br /> at theirJune 20'"meeting. <br /> Council Member Olson had several kerns to bring to council and staffs <br /> attention. He requested that the parking study update be added to <br /> uncll's agenda in the near future.President Bailee responded that the <br /> item is tentatively scheduled for May 20"in a workshop format. <br /> Second,he noted that Joe Boland,IT Director,gave a presentation <br /> regarding the web streaming of council meetings project at the February <br /> budget cvmmlttee meeting. Council Member Olson asked that the <br /> program come forward to full council for approval.Debra Bryant, <br /> Administration,responded that she will work with Joe Boland and <br /> President Ha0oe to bring forward a presentation to Council within a few <br /> weeks. <br /> Third,he questioned what the city is doing in regards to maintaining the <br /> portion of Japanese Gulch that Is within city limits. Debre Bryant, <br /> Administration,responded she will work with Allan Wien and report back <br /> next week. <br /> The last Item was related to the Providence Regional Medical Center <br /> nnshuction schedule and the possibility of alternate truck traffic routing. <br /> A brief discussion ensued between council members regarding prior city <br /> actions.President Native pointed out that the next opportunity to discuss <br /> this issue will be when Providence moves on to the next phase of their <br /> project. <br /> 110 <br />
