April 29,2009 <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session to discuss the sale of <br /> real property.The session is expected to last approximately 30 minutes <br /> with no announcement to follow. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Joel Start,219 E.View Ridge Dr,thanked the council and city staff for <br /> their support of the Cruixin to Colby events which have been going on for <br /> ten years now.Etc stated that they are great events that bring business to <br /> the downtown core. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson seconded by Council Member <br /> ARholter to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION—CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.6137 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the city of Everett in the amount of <br /> $3,497,587.91 for the period of April 11,2009 through AprIl 17,2009. <br /> RESOLUTION-PAYROLL <br /> To adopt Resolution No.6138 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved payroll claims against the city of Everett in the amount <br /> of$3,445,025.36 for the period ending April 11,2009. <br /> STREET CLOSURE—CRUIZIN TO COLBY CAR CRUISE <br /> To approve the closure of various streets in the downtown core for a <br /> Cruirin to Colby Car Cruise on May 24,2009,May 30,2010,and May <br /> 29,2011,12 p.m.to 7:30 p.m.,sponsored by the Seattle ROd.Tiques <br /> 111 <br />
