May 20,2009 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,May 20,2009 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Hatice presiding. Upon roll cell it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson; Council Members Olson, Hatice, Gipson, Nielsen. <br /> Stonecipher and Affholter were present Council Member Roberts was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Olson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 13,2009 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT—SENIOR CENTER ADVISORY BOARD <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher,seconded by Council <br /> Member Gipson to concur with the appointment of Marian Krell to <br /> Position No.0,Senior Center Advisory Board,for the remainder of an <br /> unexpired term ending December 31,2011. <br /> Roll was <br /> called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> MemberRoberts who was excused. <br /> Motion carrled. <br /> REPORT—PROVIDENCE TRAFFIC FLOW <br /> Dongho Chang,Traffic Engineer,gave a brief slide presentation regarding <br /> the Providence Traffic Flow. He discussed the construction mitigation <br /> plan,the use of 13.and 14.Streets as a haul route and an alternate <br /> route being used as an overflow during heavy construction delivery,times. <br /> He displayed a log of truck traffic provided by Modensen Construction and <br /> talked about various neighborhood requests and the city's response to <br /> them. <br /> • <br /> 127 <br />
