t - <br /> June 17,2009 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Stonecipher who was excused. <br /> Motion canted. <br /> PERMIT-FIREWORKS <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to approve Orlon Pyrotechnic's application to operate a <br /> public display of fireworks In the City of Everett on July 4,2009. <br /> Council Member Gipson noted that there have been problems with this <br /> vendor in the past and questioned 9 those Issues have been resolved. <br /> Fire Chief Gordon responded that they have. The city requires an <br /> extensive permitting process now and they work hand In hand with an <br /> assistant fire marshal to ensure they meet all of their obligations. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Stonecipher who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION—EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to adopt Resolution No.6157 encouraging the City of Everett <br /> to seek approval from the qualified electors of Everett,at the 2009 <br /> general election,of a levy lid lift to allow the City to continue <br /> providing quality Emergency Medical Services. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Stonecipher who was excused. <br /> Motion santed. <br /> 174 <br />
