He spoke in support of the arts but <br /> related that basic needs should come first,i.e.Medic One,and that this <br /> project could be put on hold until our economy turns around. <br /> Buzz Rodland,Co-chair Medic One Levy Committee,spoke about the <br /> need fora children's theater but questioned the timing as it relates to the <br /> economy. His sense is that people are struggling to survive and a tax <br /> increase at this time is not advisable.He challenged the city council to do <br /> a poll as to which project Is more important right now. <br /> Much discussion ensued regarding the cost of this project and the <br /> finances. <br /> 184 <br />
