June 24,2009 <br /> Council Member Nielsen voiced that if we are looking at where would core <br /> go for money there are many topics to be discussed and It wouldn't simply <br /> be a children's theater program. <br /> Council Member Gipson questioned if the 10%construction contingency <br /> would be enough?Carlton Gipson answered that 10%is the usual figure <br /> used and is doable. <br /> Mayor Stephanson stated that in the contract it caps the city's investment <br /> on the shell Improvements at$1.5 million so if bide exceed that we will <br /> have to renegotiate how that difference is covered.The city council wisely <br /> wanted to ensure that we knew exactly what the shell improvement <br /> Investments were going to be. <br /> The City Clew was directed to call the roll for the final disposition of the <br /> ordinance. <br /> AYES: Olson,Nielsen,Stonecipher, <br /> NAYS: Hatloe,Gipson <br /> EXCUSED: Roberts,Affholter <br /> City Attorney lies stated that four votes in the affirmative are needed as <br /> this is an ordinance. <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to table. <br /> Roll was called with ail council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Roberts and Affholter who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 186 <br />
