• <br /> March 31,2010 <br /> STREET CLOSURE—5K 10K,ONE MILE FUN RUNS <br /> To approve a rolling street closure from California and Rockefeller to <br /> Wetmore,south to Wall,west to Colby,north to 19.Street,east to <br /> Wetmore,south to 19'^,west to Colby,south to California and east to <br /> Oakes for One Mile and SIC Fun Runs with an additional rolling street <br /> closure of Colby north to Alveraon to the Legion Park parking lot, <br /> and back to Grand Avenue,south to 19.and east to Colby to be <br /> included fora 10K Fun Run with the attached conditions. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Moore and Ha0ce who were excused. <br /> Mayon carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—RIVERFROMT DEVELOPMENT PUBLIC <br /> AMENITIES MASTER PLAN <br /> Council President Roberts opened a public hearing regarding the adoption <br /> of the proposed RNerfront Development Public Amenities Master Plan. <br /> Dave Davis,Public Works,stated that one of the elements of the property <br /> disposition agreement with OliverMCMillan for the sale of the property was <br /> an obligation of the Sty to develop the public amenities and to enhance <br /> the wetlands. <br />• <br /> Connie Rekord,MacLeod Rekord,gave an overview of the Master Plan. <br /> She discussed the various proposed amenities;a three acre park, <br /> wetlands,railroad corridor enhancements,riverfroM trails,a group picnic <br /> area,Bigelow Creek enhancements,etc. <br /> Council Member Nielsen questioned how to ensure the budget to build the <br /> proposed amenities. <br /> 130 <br />
