May 19,2010 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,May 19,2010,In the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Roberts presiding. Upon roll call It was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Moore,Hatloe,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher and Afihoker were present. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 12,2010 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed.Council Member Moore abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed May 21,2010 as"Snohomish County Bike <br /> to Work Day." He presented the proclamation to Bob Hunter, <br /> Transportation Services. <br /> UPDATE—BICYCLE STUDY <br /> Dave Davis,Public Works,gave a brief update on the city's Bicyde <br /> Master Plan. He stated that public comments and design standards <br /> should be incorporated into the plan by the end of June at which time a <br /> council workshop and pubic hearings will be held. <br /> Mayor Stephenson thanked Council Member Gipson for his perseverance <br /> in bringing this weekend's motorcycle event to Everett. <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Coma Member Gipson stated that the motorcycle event was well <br /> orchestrated and a great event. He thanked the Mayor and council <br /> members for their support. <br /> Council Member Roberts discussed the new agenda structure.He stated <br /> that because the council members are coming to meetings without <br /> 136 <br />
