May 26,2010 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Affholter who was excused. <br /> Motion waled. <br /> AGREEMENT AMENDED—PURCHASE/FORD TRUCK CAB AND <br /> CHASSIS <br /> Moved by Council Member Nielsen,seconded by Council Member <br /> Gipson to amend the purchase agreement for the Ford Truck cab <br /> and chassis from Washington State Contract No.05109 for an <br /> additional amount of$3,000.00 including Washington State sales tax. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Aftholter who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> Ron Beny,Everett,spoke about the city doing mom to address homeless <br /> Council Member Stonecipher requested a presentation regarding services <br /> for the homeless. <br /> Mayor Stephenson stated that he has been working very closely with the <br /> Planning Department on the homeless issue. The city has joined with <br /> Snohomish County and other counties and states on a federal initiative to <br /> end homelessness in ten years.Some additional 273 housing units have <br /> been provided In the city during the last two years.Mother Initiative is the <br /> homeless location for victims of domestic violence.He related that them <br /> is a lot of good work going on.Dave Koenig will be a good resource for a <br /> followup report. <br /> 151 <br />
