October27,2010 <br /> AGREEMENT—LAND USE AND CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING <br /> XXAMINER <br /> Moved by Council Member Stonecipher,seconded by Council <br /> Member Nielsen to concur with the Mayor's reappointment of James <br /> Driscoll as the Land Use and Code Enforcement Hearing Examiner <br /> for one,four-year term,and authorize the Mayor to execute a <br /> personal services contract with Mr.Driscoll as the Land Use and <br /> Code enforcement Hearing Examiner in the amount of$5,000 per <br /> month for four years. <br /> Lynn Claughton,Everett,provided a written history of issues he has had <br /> wgh the Planning Department and expensed his concerns with having <br /> only one code enforcement hearing examiner. <br /> Council Member Moore requested that city staff work with Mr.Claughton <br /> to clarify and repo back to the council as to the impartiality and the lack <br /> of conflict of Interest. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council . <br /> Member Roberts who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT—HENRY M.JACKSON PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE <br /> Moved by Council Member Nielsen,seconded by Council Member <br /> Affholter to authorize the Meyer to sign the Local Agency Standard <br /> Consultant Agreement with KPFF Consulting Engineers for design <br /> services related to Henry M.Jackson Pedestrian Bridge. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Roberts who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 303 <br />
