January 19,2011 <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the easement from the Port of Everett <br /> for the public water system at Riverside Business Park. <br /> Presentation by Paul McKee <br /> Council Member Stonecipher requested that meeting time be scheduled in <br /> the near future as that the full Council could discuss the new meeting <br /> format and consider whether any changes should be made. Discussion <br /> ensued about finding the best balance between efficient meetings and <br /> frank discussions in a public forum. Council President Affholter stated <br /> that time will be set aside for this purpose. <br /> PROPOSED ACTION AGENDA ITEMS—FUTURE MEETING <br /> President Affholter stated that the following agenda Rem will come forward <br /> on a future agenda if there are no objections. <br /> Authorize the Mayor to Con Contract E11-093 with the Snohomish <br /> County Deportment of Emergency Management for the Homeland <br /> Security Planner position through 2011 and 2012,in the amount of <br /> $62,000. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Nielsen,seconded by Council Member <br />• <br /> Roberts to approve the following concent items: <br /> RESOLUTION—CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.6344 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the city of Everett in the amount of <br /> $3,691,658.72 for the period of January 1,2011 through January T, <br /> 2011. <br />• <br /> 18 <br />
