August 24,2011 <br /> President Affholtr brought forth an hem regarding a Supplemental <br /> Certification of Lands and authorization for entry for the Union Slough <br /> Section 1135 Restoration Project. <br /> Moved by Council Member Affholter,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to authorize the Mayor to sign the Supplemental Certificate <br /> of Lands form allowing the Army Corps of Engineers to temporarily <br /> use city property for the placement of spoils and construction <br /> staging associated with the Union Slough Restoration project. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Stonecipher who was excused. <br /> Motion carded. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Jim Iles had no comment. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Larry Hirata,Everett,brought forth concerns regarding a drug house, <br /> speeding and parking issues in his neighborhood. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION—CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.6416 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the city of Everett in the amount of • <br /> $1,038,209.21 for the period of August 6,2011 through August 12, <br /> 2011. <br /> I <br /> 238 <br />
