October26,2011 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m.,October 26,2011 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hell,President Affnolter presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Moore,He0ce, <br /> Gipson,Nielsen,Stonecipher end Atthoiter were present. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 19,2011 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> a^proved as printed. <br /> President Af hotter briefly commented that citizen comments had been <br /> moved to the end of the city council meetings during the general budget <br /> process in order to ccnduct a more efficient meeting.No concerns have <br /> been received from council members regarding that action,however, <br /> some citizens have brought forth concerns.He announced that stating <br /> today citizen comments will be moved back to the beginning of the <br /> meetings and since they are also scheduled on today's agenda at the end <br /> of the meeting they will also be them. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher emphasized that as long as citizens are able <br /> to comment during each item having citizen comments at the beginning of <br /> the meeting will be fine.Council Member Roberts agreed with that <br /> • <br /> Also President Affholter stated that he had received citizen concems • <br /> regarding agenda item no.7,a public hearing regarding a proposed <br /> ordinance levying general taxes,and indicated that they are not able to <br /> attend today's meeting.He requested that it be continued to neat week's <br /> night meeting. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT—EVERETT PUBLIC FACILITIES DISTRICT <br /> Mayor Stephenson requested the city council's concurrence regarding the <br /> appointment of Lenin McMullin to the Everett Public Facilities Distdct. <br /> 290 <br />
