November2,2011 <br /> RESOLUTION—ELECTRONIC TRANSFERS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.6436 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved electronic transfer claims against the city of Everett in <br /> the amount of$4,864,839.92 for the period of September 1,2011 <br /> through September30,2011. <br /> JOB COMPLETE—REPLACEMENT OF WATER TRANSMISSION <br /> LINE 2,PHASE 88 <br /> To accept the Replacement of Water Transmission Line 2,Phase 88 <br /> project as complete and authorize the Mayor to sign the certificate of <br /> completion which will begin the 60'day retention period prior to the <br /> release of retainage in the amount of$129,663.38 to the general <br /> contractor,Tri State Construction,Inc. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—COUNCIL BILL NO.1110-31 <br /> President Attholter reopened a public hearing regarding Council Bill No. <br /> 1110-31,a proposed ordinance levying the general taxes for the City of <br /> Everett 0.01 year commencing January 1,2012,which was continued <br /> from the October 26,2011 council meeting. <br /> Susy Haugen,Treasurer,expanded on the briefing that was presented on <br /> October 12,2011.She provided additional information on what makes up <br /> the total tax bill for property owners as well the mechanics of how levy <br /> amounts and rates are calculated. <br /> President Afrholter invited public comment. <br /> 303 <br />
