November 30,2011 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,November 30,2011 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,Council President Affholter presiding.Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Moore,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher end Affholter were present.Council Member Hatloe <br /> was excused. <br /> Council Member Nielsen led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 23,2011 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATH <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher,to concur with the appointment of Geoffrey Albright <br /> as a new ponce officer. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except County <br /> Member Hatoe who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered his oath of off.and Mayor <br /> Stephenson presented him with his badge. <br /> Mayor Stephenson commented on the news that the Boeing Company and <br /> the Machinists Union have entered into a four-year agreement a full year <br /> before their contract expired. He stated that part of that agreement <br /> secures the 737 Max will be built In Renton,and ratification of the contract <br /> will signal the machinists dropping their labor relators lawsuit against the <br /> Boeing Company. <br /> 330 <br />
