November 30,2011 <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts reported on his attendance at a Governor's <br /> Connecting Task Force meeting where they discussed priorities for a <br /> transportation package. He remarked that they had a conference call <br /> from the AWC Federal Relations Committee to discuss what will happen <br /> in the event that the Federal government does not resolve its budget <br /> matters and the impacts on the State of Washington. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher stated that she has been hearing news <br /> reports about the Governor's proposed'h cent tax increase and requested <br /> a briefing on what that would mean to the city of Everett and particularly <br /> what it would mean to education. She questioned whether the city will <br /> take a position on the h cent tax increase and what that position will be. <br /> Debra Bryant,CAA and Chief Financial Officer,stated that she would <br /> report back in the near future. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attomey two had no comments. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> No citizens wished to comment. <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA <br /> Everett Transit Outreach Presentation <br /> Presentation by Stephanie Lillie,Transportation Services <br /> J.T.Dray,Everett,commented on Everett Transit's outreach efforts and <br /> questioned why signage can't be installed on the buses notifying the riders <br /> that the outreach is underway and how they can participate. <br /> 331 <br />
