direction of the head of his department or duly authorized super- <br />visor, to work additional hours in addition to his shift when an <br />emergency is declared to exist by the head of his department or <br />duly authorized supervisor, shall be allowed payment for such <br />overtime work at an hourly rate based upon one and one-half times <br />h is monthly salary divided by one hundred sixty-eight, which pay- <br />ment shall be in addition to his regular monthly payment o <br />Any Policeman or Policewoman who shall be required to <br />attend police court to testify at any time other than during his <br />or her shift of work shall be allowed payment for two hours over- <br />time pay based at the rate of one and one-half times his or her <br />monthly salary divided by one hundred sixty-eight. Any Policeman <br />or Policewoman who shall be -required to work when an emergency has <br />been declared to exist by the Chief of the Police Department or <br />d uly authorized supervisor, at any time other than his or her <br />regular shift, shall be allowed payment for such overtime work at <br />the rate of one and one-half times his or her monthly salary <br />d ivided by one hundred sixty-eight.
