child welfare checks, threat assessments, internet/social media safety, mentoring, group or individual Zoom calls with students and families, and supporting other instructional program needs. The City's Youth Services Sergeant will continue to manage the overall program, and provide technical guidance to the District. On scheduled days when school is not in session(summer vacation, school breaks, holidays, etc.),the SROs will work on assignment as determined by the Youth Services Sergeant. 4. A new Section 1, Paragraph F. is ADDED to the September 12, 2018, Interlocal Agreement as follows: In compliance with RCW 28A.320.124(2), no later than February 28, 2021,the District and the City shall engage in a review of the SRO program with the intent of adopting an agreement for the 2021-22 school year, using a process that involves parents, students, and community members. The resulting 2021-22 agreement shall incorporate at a minimum the requirements set forth in RCW 28A.320.124(2)(a)-(e). 5. A new Section 1, Paragraph G. is ADDED to the September 12, 2018, Interlocal Agreement as follows: No later than October 31, 2020,the District and the City shall adopt procedures through which families can make complaints related to school resource officers and, including a process for investigating and responding to complaints. 6. Other Terms and Conditions Remain Unchanged. Except as modified by Amendment 1 to the September 12, 2018, Interlocal Agreement and this Amendment 2,the terms and conditions of the September 12, 2018, Interlocal Agreement shall remain in full force and effect as written.
