f/k EVERETT <br /> COMMUNITY COLLEGE <br /> EvCC Contract Number 20210090ES <br /> EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> FOR <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> PARTIES TO THE AGREEMENT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT,pursuant to RCW 28B.50.140(16)is made and entered into by and between Everett <br /> Community College,hereinafter referred to as EvCC or The College and <br /> City of Everett hereinafter referred to as City of Everett. <br /> PURPOSE OF THIS AGREEMENT <br /> EvCC will create and pilot an online, self-paced, student-centered IT Boot Camp for those impacted by COVID- <br /> 19 that leads to a high opportunity career in the IT industry. This 6-week condensed boot camp features <br /> competency-based courses that support industry credentials including ITF+(Plus),A+(Plus)Core 1,A+(Plus) <br /> Core 2,Net+(Plus), Sec+(Plus). <br /> This agreement clarifies the scope of work between EvCC and City of Everett. <br /> TRAINING PROJECT SCOPE <br /> Information Technology Boot Camp—6—weeks <br /> Course Descriptions and Topics: <br /> The IT Boot Camp includes: ITF+(Plus),A+(Plus)Core 1,A+(Plus)Core 2,Net+(Plus), Sec+(Plus). <br /> This unique competency-based program allows students to start at the appropriate level and proceed through their <br /> selected credentials at their own pace. <br /> Information Technology Boot Camp: <br /> • CompTIA IT Fundamentals+: Introduction to basic Information Technology(IT)knowledge and skills. <br /> Topic areas are foundational IT concepts including identifying and explaining computer components, <br /> installing software,establishing network connectivity and presenting security risks.Focuses on the <br /> essential IT skills and knowledge needed to perform tasks commonly performed by advanced end-users <br /> and entry-level IT professionals. <br /> • CompTIA A+: <br /> 1. Core 1: Fundamentals of computing device hardware and technical support,in alignment with <br /> the first of two CompTIA A+industry certification objectives. Hands-on experience with <br /> computer hardware assembly and repair including laptop and printer troubleshooting and <br /> Windows networking Operational procedures,customer service, and documentation. <br /> 2. Core 2: Computing operation and advanced troubleshooting of hardware and operating systems <br /> in alignment with the second of two CompTIA A+industry certification exams.
