Educational Services Agreement <br /> Page 2 <br /> • CompTIA Network+:Fundamentals of computer networking including hands-on experience in Windows <br /> networking.Network infrastructure, wireless,network hardware such as cabling, switches, and routers, <br /> and protocols, and TCP/IP tools. <br /> • CompTIA Security+: Presents the principles of information security. Includes examples of challenges <br /> faced by information technology professionals and tools for designing security policy,acceptable use <br /> policy,materials disposal policy,and access management policy. Threat assessment,risk assessment and <br /> disaster recovery strategy are discussed. Course offers opportunities for hands-on experience with <br /> security software tools. <br /> Courses attended will appear on the participant's transcript and recorded by Everett Community College, <br /> allowing class participants to work towards larger certificate offerings and academic credit that build toward a <br /> college degree with Everett Community College. <br /> TERMS <br /> Training Location and Dates <br /> IT Boot Camp—6 week online program <br /> Dates: Monday—Friday,October 15r''—November 25th <br /> Time: TBD-Asynchronous <br /> Location: <br /> All IT Boot Camp program courses will be online. <br /> Additional dates may be scheduled in writing,via email,by mutual agreement. <br /> Any scheduled class may be canceled by City of Everett,ten(10)or more business days before the scheduled <br /> class date without incurring any charges. However,City of Everett will be charged for the scheduled class if the <br /> class is either canceled or rescheduled within the ten(10)business-day start date of the contracted training. <br /> Everett Community College will: <br /> • Develop and deliver courses that comprise an online 6-week competency-based IT Boot Camp with <br /> qualified trainers at no cost to students. <br /> • Provide successful participants with certificates of completion for each course and transcript each <br /> student. <br /> • Provide and arrange for required student materials. Pick up is at EvCC's Main Campus,2000 Tower <br /> Street,Everett,WA. 98204. <br /> • Provide and maintain a lending library for students to access textbooks. <br /> • Purchase and assign testing vouchers for industry-recognized certifications for each student who has met <br /> the qualifications for testing. <br /> • If requested, facilitate the transfer of Continuing Education Units to traditional college credit. <br /> • Assist with resumes, interviewing skills, and track job placement for a period of 12 months after <br /> completion for all participants. <br /> • Provide a student program evaluation summary report for each course conducted. <br /> Contract Number 20210090ES <br />
