• <br /> October 14, 2020 <br /> COUNCIL BILL 2009-52 <br /> SECOND READING AND PUBLIC HEARING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Title 2 (Chapter 2.96, Historical Commission), <br /> Title 13 (Chapter 13.68, Street Construction and Private Construction), <br /> Title 15 (Local Project Review Procedures), Title 18 (Land Division),Title 19 <br /> (Zoning) and Title 20 (Chapter 20.04, Environmental Policy) <br /> There were no citizens who wished to speak. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING —COUNCIL BILL 2009-49: <br /> President Tuohy opened the public hearing regarding Council Bill 2009-49. <br /> David Stalheim, Planning, reminded council about the two proposed options. <br /> • <br /> Council Member Bader asked how many stores in Everett have medical <br /> endorsement. <br /> David Stalheim stated that two of Everett's stores have the medical endorsement. <br /> Council Member Murphy asked if stores with medical endorsement are required <br /> to sell medical products or these stores can sell recreational products only. <br /> David Stalheim stated that Washington State Department of Health has <br /> requirements regarding the medical endorsement. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher stated that there is an additional fee for the medical <br /> endorsement and medical endorsements require a certified marijuana consultant <br /> on staff. She also noted that recreational marijuana products are in the highest <br /> demand, and there is a lack of availability of medical marijuana products. <br /> Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Roberts, to <br /> close the public hearing. <br /> • <br /> 318 <br />
