CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> 7-04.3(1)G1 Deflection Test for Thermoplastic Pipe <br /> After trench backfill and compaction are completed, perform deflection testing if <br /> CCTV testing reveals thermoplastic pipe being out of round. <br /> 7-04.3(1)G2 Television Inspection <br /> After trench backfill and compaction are completed the City will use their CCTV <br /> camera to inspect the interior of mains and the interior of existing lines having <br /> Contractor installed new structures or side sewers or both. Provide the City with <br /> a three-business-day notice for each CCTV request. Begin final roadway surfacing <br /> AFTER notice from City Inspector of City Sewer Department approval of the CCTV <br /> inspection. <br /> Prior to arranging with City for CCTV inspection, perform the following: <br /> Clean lines and structures of all debris, <br /> Channel manhole inverts <br /> Adjust catch basin sump depth, where required in the plans <br /> Seal pipes entering structures according to these Special Provisions. <br /> Correct deficiencies noted by the City Inspector and the CCTV inspection results <br /> to the satisfaction of the Engineer. <br /> City will bear initial inspection costs. Contractor shall be responsible for re- <br /> inspection costs if CCTV equipment will not pass through the lines or structures on <br /> initial inspection. City will deduct cost for follow-up re-inspection after correction of <br /> deficiencies from Contractor's final payment on a direct cost basis. <br /> 7-04.3(1)H Final Acceptance <br /> City will require successful completion of the following items prior to issuing final <br /> acceptance, including, but not limited to: <br /> 1. Passing low pressure air testing. <br /> 2. Backfill and compaction in accordance with COE Standard Drawings No. 614 and <br /> 615. <br /> 3. Line and grade to the tolerance of 7-08.3(2)B. <br /> 4. Manhole, inlet, and catch basin to the invert elevation, and cleaned. <br /> 5. Manhole, inlet, and catch basin casting set to final grade. <br /> 6. Manhole, inlet, and catch basin construction in accordance with 7-05.3. <br /> 7. Lines free of debris and obstructions. <br /> 8. Bell and spigot joints properly seated as evidenced by successful completion of <br /> CCTV testing. <br /> 9. HDPE bead removal, where required, is accomplished without leaving sharp and <br /> jagged edges. <br /> 7-04.4 Measurement <br /> Delete the first paragraph of 7-04.4 and substitute the following: <br /> Bid items of Work completed pursuant to the Contract Documents will be measured as <br /> described in Division B — Bid Item Descriptions of these Special Provisions and Section <br /> 1-09 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT of the Standard Specifications. <br /> 7-04.5 Payment <br /> Delete all paragraphs in 7-04.5 and substitute the following: <br /> Payment for bid items of Work completed pursuant to the Contract Documents will be <br /> as described in Division B — Bid Item Descriptions of these Special Provisions and <br /> Section 1-09 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT of the Standard Specifications. <br /> Jackson Park Area Stormwater Separation September 2020 <br /> WO No. - UP3703 Division 7—STORM, SEWER,WATER <br /> SP-154 <br />
