CITY OF EVERETT EVERETT Public Works WASHINGTON ADDENDUM NO. 2 TO JACKSON PARK STORM WATER SEPARATION AND TREATMENT W.O. # UP-3703 OCTOBER 1, 2020 NOTICE TO PLANHOLDERS: Addendum No. 2 contains the following revisions, additions, deletions and clarifications and is hereby made a part of the contract documents for the above named Project and shall be considered by all prospective bidders in submitting bids. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of Addendum No. 2 in the space provided on page SP-18 in Division P, Proposal Form. Failure to comply with this requirement may render the Bid non- responsive and may cause its rejection. This Addendum consists of 2 page, including all revisions, and attachments. The Bid date, time and location for receipt of Bids are unchanged by this Addendum. THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ARE MODIFIED AS FOLLOWS: Notice to Contractors—First sentence is revised to read: "Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the JACKSON PARK AREA STORMWATER SEPARATION will be received at the Purchasing Counter, 3200 Cedar Street, Door#5, Everett, WA, 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2020." Bid Descriptions- Bid Item 17: PE Storm Drain Pipe, 24-Inch, page SP-8, shall be revised to read"PVC Storm Drain Pipe, 24-inch". See drawing C7 for more information. Bid Item 35: Force Account, page SP-12,Add to the list: "(e) Existing landscape trees along the frontage of Jackson Park that may need to be trimmed or replaced due to construction and restoration." Add Bid Item 36: SD Manhole 48-inch DIA Additional Height Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot (LF) In addition to the measurement per each, manhole in excess of 10 feet in height will be measured per linear foot for each additional foot of total height over 10 feet as measured from the flow line to the surface of the Work. The unit price per linear foot shall be full compensation for all labor, material,tools and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the Work as defined in these Contract Documents. Measurement of manhole height for payment purposes shall be the distance from the flowline of the outlet pipe to the surface of the Work measured to the nearest foot.
