MATCH OR COST SHARING REQUIREMENTS <br /> Match or cost sharing means the portion of project costs not paid by federal funds. The costs of <br /> activities counted as match must be directly related to the project goals and objectives. <br /> Matching funds are restricted to the same use of funds as allowed for the federal award. If it is <br /> not allowable under the federal award, it is not allowable as match.
