Materials shall be identified with appropriate markings of applicable <br /> testing and inspecting agency. <br /> 1. Exterior Fire-Test Exposure: Minimum Class C, for application and roof slopes indicated. <br /> E. Thermal Value: N/A <br /> 1.06 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Product data, Roofing Systems: Submit the name of the manufacturer and specification <br /> numbers and product names of all materials proposed for each type of product specified. <br /> Include in submittal installation instructions and general recommendations for each principal <br /> roofing system product required. Include data substantiating that the materials comply with <br /> requirements, including certificates and delivery logs for bulk materials. <br /> B. Shop Drawings: Include plans, sections, details, and attachments to other work, for the <br /> following: <br /> 1. Base flashings and membrane terminations. <br /> C. Samples for Verification: For the following products: <br /> 1. 12-by-12-inch (300-by-300-mm) square of sheet roofing, of color specified, including T- <br /> shaped side and end lap seam. <br /> 2. 6-by-6 inch (150-by-150-mm) sample of coverboard. <br /> D. Color Samples: Manufacturers standard membrane colors. <br /> E. Fastener and Adhesive Testing and Schedule: Contractor shall coordinate and meet on site <br /> with CT-PM, project structural engineer, the manufacturers technical representative, and <br /> other owner representatives involved in the project, and perform a minimum of ten (10) pull <br /> out test on each roof deck (KP-C South Canopy and KP-Fuel Island) verifying the pull out <br /> values of the existing steel decks meet project uplift requ8irements. Provide roofing <br /> manufacturer's layout, spacing and installation requirements, for mechanical securement of <br /> the coverboard and single ply membrane at vertical transitions, perimeter transitions, and <br /> penetrations. <br /> F. Tear Off: Submit tear-off work plan. <br /> G. Submit emergency phone numbers of personnel capable of responding to a roof related <br /> emergency after normal working hours. Answering service phone numbers are not <br /> acceptable for this purpose. <br /> H. Installer Certificates: Signed by roofing system manufacturer certifying that Installer is <br /> approved, authorized, or licensed by manufacturer to install specified roofing system and is <br /> eligible to receive the standard roofing manufacturer's warranty. Submit Manufacturer's <br /> certifications with quote proposals. <br /> I. Qualification Data: For Installer and manufacturer. In addition to quality assurance items <br /> listed below, the Contractor shall provide verification of their roofing installation of at least five <br /> (5) projects of similar scale and complexity, including photographs and project contacts. <br /> J. Maintenance Data: For roofing system to be provided to the owner at the end of the project. <br /> K. Warranty: Sample copy of warranties specified in this Section stating obligations, remedies, <br /> limitations, and exclusions of warranty. <br /> Construction Documents 02\c) <br /> 07500-2 <br />
