Many of your concerns are addressed in the
Specification Manual that accompanies the drawings. We had submitted a copy with the
drawings but will include another for ease of the review's sake. Please feel free to call me with
any questions or concerns,or if there is any other information that you might need.
Our response is categorized and numbered to match your review comments.
General:
1. The architectural stamp was to have been inserted at the printers it apparently did not
happen. We have corrected this on our current submittal.
2. It is our intention to submit all documents will to the Washington State Department of
Health once all of the City of Everett's comments have been addressed and are accepted.
3. We have made contact with Mr.Tim Alaniz. Electrical drawings will be to him for his
review. .
4. Structural calculations for the new window are included here in. Special inspections
have been added to sheet A0.01 under Code Information. We have included only an
inspection of the carbon fiber reinforcing. It is believed that given the limited scope of
work involved that special inspections would typically not be required. The Owner
would like to use Mayes Testing and Inspection as their inspection agency on this project.
5. Detail 2/A8.02 has been modified to match the structural reinforcing reflected in detail
4/A8.02.
Occupancy:
1. Soiled Utility Room B329 is enclosed in a one-hour occupancy separation.
2. Utility Room Doors,B325,B329&C347,and their associated hardware have been
changed to a required minimum fire rating of 60 minutes. Please see the modifications
made to the attached Door Schedule.
3. Rooms B323,B341 &C309 are not intended be used for storage of combustible,or
potentially combustible materials. Regardless Providence has elected to provide 60-
minute doors at C309&C309A. Please see the modifications made to the attached Door
Schedule&Floor Plan A2.3C.
Ic
060802revicw.d«
I •
