• <br /> December 16, 2020 <br /> President Tuohy announced that the Council is still abiding by Governor Inslee's <br /> Safe Start guidelines, and as a result, City Council meetings will continue to be held <br /> remotely with all meetings scheduled at 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday, except the <br /> fourth Wednesday of the month when the meeting is scheduled at 12:30 p.m. <br /> Citizens are encouraged to call or email public comments prior to the meeting. She <br /> also stated that public comment will be accepted one-half hour before the start <br /> of the meeting by calling 1.425.616.3920, Conference ID 110 954 87#. If citizens <br /> have difficulty calling in or connecting, please contact dwilliams@everettwa.gov. <br /> Citizens may call in to listen to the Council meetings at 1.425.616.3920, <br /> Conference ID: 724 887 726#, and meetings can be viewed on Comcast Channel <br /> 21, Frontier Channel 29, or on the City website. <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:35 p.m., <br /> December 16, 2020, President Tuohy presiding. Upon roll call, it was found that <br /> Mayor Franklin and Council Members Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Vogeli, Bader, <br /> Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> • <br /> The minutes of the December 2, 2020, City Council meeting and December 9, <br /> 2020, City Council work session were approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin wished everyone happy holidays. <br /> OATH — POLICE OFFICERS <br /> Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member Bader, to <br /> concur with the appointment of Katherin DeCastro, Kyler Hawkins, and Alvaro <br /> Ferreira as new police officers. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 416 <br />
