Vents, mechanical penthouses, elevator equipment and similar <br /> appurtenances that extend above the roofline shall be landscaped or architecturally screened, except for rod and <br /> wire antennas, and dish antennas approved pursuant to subsection A of this section. The height of the screening <br /> must be at least as high as the rooftop appurtenances.Screening shall consist of materials similar to those used <br /> for the building facade. (Ord. 2538-01§§66, 67, 2001; Ord. 2290-98§ 2, 1998;Ord. 1864-92§5, 1992; Ord. <br /> 1849-92§58, 1992;Ord. 1671-89 (part), 1989.) <br /> And Chapter 19.31B.070.E.4: <br /> Roof mounted mechanical equipment must be located and screened so the equipment is not visible within one <br /> hundred fifty feet of the structure when viewed from the ground level of adjacent streets or properties.
