The"Building Data"schedule on Sheet A0.0 states the occupancy classification as B and M. <br /> The"Allowable Area Analysis"and "Occupant Load Analysis"schedules state A2 and B. The <br /> occupancy for the building should be clarified. See IBC Section 302.1. Occupancies have been <br /> corrected to A2 at suites 100 and 300 and M at suite 200. <br /> Fire Protection: <br /> 2. The"Allowable Area Analysis"schedule on Sheet A0.0 references IBC Section 508.4.2, <br /> indicating the building has been designed for separate occupancies. The architectural <br /> drawings do not specify details for protection of penetrations through the 1-hour wall in <br /> Section 4/A6.5. Details for penetrations shall be provided for review. The details shall include <br /> references for the fire-rated assemblies (e.g., UL listing, etc.). See IBC Section 714. Area <br /> analysis has been revised to non-separated occupancy utilizing most restrictive A2 occupancy <br /> negating the need for rated wall separation. Please note owner has remove demising wall <br /> between suites 200 and 300 to be constructed with future tenant improvements. <br /> Egress: <br /> 3. Sheet A2.1 shall specify the requirements for exterior lighting as follows: <br /> a. All egress doors shall be provided with lighting per IBC Section 1008.2. <br /> b. The lights for Suites 100 and 300 shall be provided with emergency power per IBC Section <br /> 1008.3.2 Item 5. <br /> c. The drawings shall specify the means of providing emergency power. See IBC Section <br /> 1008.3.4. Notes 6, 7 and 8 added to General Notes on this drawing. <br /> 4. Sheet A2.1 shall specify the requirement for emergency power in Room 400. The means pf <br /> providing emergency power shall be specified. See IBC Sections 1008.3.3 Item 3 and <br /> 1008.3.4. Note 9 added to General Notes on this drawing. <br /> 5. Doors 8 and 10 on Sheet A2.1 serve A-2 occupancies and do not appear intended as main exits <br /> for the spaces. The doors shall be provided with panic hardware. See IBC Section 1010.1.10. <br /> Please note owner revision delta 1 has replaced previously shown roll-up doors type C with <br /> storefront and door 5. This has resulted in revised door numbers. All exterior doors are <br /> scheduled to have panic hardware sets with the exception of door 6 at the fire riser and roof <br /> access room 400. See hardware schedule and added note 12 on drawing A7.1. <br /> 6. Doors 1, 2, 3, and 4 on Sheet A2.1 serve A-2 occupancies and appear intended as main exits <br /> for the spaces. The doors shall be provided with a sign stating "THIS DOOR TO REMAIN <br /> UNLOCKED WHEN BUILDING IS OCCUPIED"or shall be provided with panic hardware. See <br /> IBC Sections 1010.1.10 Exception 1 and 1010.1.9.3.
