The source control information in Appendix C appears to be taken from the <br /> 2010 Stormwater Management Manual. Please update the source control <br /> information to the current manual. <br /> Response: The correct BMPs have been updated in the report. <br /> vii. Identify the limits of the Stormwater Detention/Storage areas on the plans. <br /> This will allow future maintenance personnel and inspectors to identify that <br /> the flooding is intended and not a failure of the stormwater system. <br /> Response: The limits of ponding for the largest design event have been <br /> added to Sheet C3.0 of the plans. <br /> viii. The plans should identify the existing/to be constructed stormwater lift <br /> station located in the sidewalk near the northeast corner of the site. A note <br /> should be provided requiring protection of this facility. <br /> Response: A note has been added to Sheet C3.0 to protect the existing <br /> stormwater pump station. <br /> ix. DCSS Section 4-4.1 (3)requires that all underground stormwater facilities <br /> be setback from property lines a minimum distance equal to the depth of <br /> the exaction to install the facility. Verify that the filter cartridge vault meets <br /> this criteria. <br /> Response: The excavation for the filter vault will be 5 feet below existing <br /> grade.The filter vault is located 6 feet'from the property line. A dimension <br /> has been added to the drainage detail on Sheet C3.0. <br /> x. DCSS Section 4-4.2 (3) requires that lids larger than a standard manhole <br /> lid be hinged for ease of access. Please ensure that the lids to the filter <br /> cartridge vault meet this requirement. <br /> Response: The lids provided on the filter unit include two 36-inch lids with <br /> inset 24-inch lids.The 24-inch lids can be removed for inspection of the <br /> facility.The 36-inch lid would be removed during a full maintenance <br /> operation of the facility.The 36-inch lid ring can be removed by a single <br /> person,just as easily as the 24-inch lid.A detail for this lid has been added <br /> to Sheet C3.1 on the plans. <br /> xi. For the next submittal please provide the O&M Manual as a standalone <br /> document and include the following items. A copy of the O&M manual may <br /> be included in the drainage report or adopted by reference. <br /> 1. The party responsible for maintenance and operation; <br /> 2. The requirement for the O&M Manual to be retained on or within <br /> reasonable access to the site; <br />
