City of Everett 00 7300 - 1 <br /> 2021 Biosolids and Backwash Solids Removal UT 3752-1 / 20 <br /> SECTION 00 7300 - SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> 1.1 SUMMARY <br /> A. The following "Special Conditions" shall supplement the General Conditions and <br /> shall become a part of this contract. <br /> 1.2 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Prior to mobilization, the following submittals shall be submitted to the City for <br /> review and approval: <br /> 1. Proposed dewatering agents and the estimated quantity. <br /> 2. Contractor's Spill Prevention Plan (See example in Appendix C). <br /> 3. Health and Safety Plan (specific to this project— see example in Section 01 <br /> 3529 section 1 .5). <br /> 1.3 BUILDING ACCESS AND SECURITY <br /> A. Contractor access to the work site will be restricted as follows: <br /> 1 . Entry & Exit: The Contractor will be given access into facility by City's <br /> representative. Contractor is expected to maintain site security and lock <br /> gates outside of established working hours. See also Section 03 3553. <br /> B. Due to COVID Pandemic conditions contractors will not be allowed into any City <br /> building. <br /> 1.4 WORKING HOURS <br /> A. General Contractor will be required to provide a project schedule that clearly <br /> defines each phase of work and the work hours associated with each phase. <br /> B. Work sites are available from 06:00 — 22:30 seven days a week excluding City <br /> observed holidays unless otherwise approved by the City's Project Manager. <br /> Any additional or alternate work hours will require advance approval and <br /> coordination with the City's Project Manager. See 01 5000 for Noise Ordinance. <br /> 1.5 CITY OCCUPATION AND OPERATION <br /> A. The City intends to operate all treatment lagoons, treatment ponds, and the <br /> Backwash Pond during the project. Contractor is expected to coordinate with City <br /> to avoid disruption to ongoing wastewater treatment or water filtration processes <br /> or operations. <br /> 00 7300 - 1 SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br />
