Contractor must obtain a City of Everett business license prior to performing any Work pursuant to this Contract. 1.9 PERMITS A. The Contractor shall be responsible to obtain and pay the cost of any applicable permits and connection fees required to do the Work, and such costs shall be included in the Bid. 1.10 CODES AND STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS A. All construction shall be in accordance with the International Building Code, Current Adopted Edition. B. All construction shall be in accordance with the Uniform Mechanical Code, and the Uniform Plumbing Code, latest editions. C. All construction shall be in conformance with the WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications and Standard Plans, latest edition. D. All construction shall be in conformance with the City of Everett Design and Construction Standards and Specifications, latest edition. E. All work shall comply with applicable requirements of Snohomish County. F. Any material specified by reference to the number, symbol, or title of a specified standards, such as Commercial Standard Federal Specifications, a trade association standard, or other similar standard, shall comply with the requirements of the latest revision thereof, and any amendment or supplement thereto in effect on the date of Invitation for Bids, except as limited to type, class or grade, or modified in such references. All work shall conform to the standard referred to, except as modified in these specifications and the drawings. 1.11 CONTRACTOR'S USE OF PREMISES A. The Contractor shall assume full responsibility for protection and safekeeping of products under this Contract. B.
