The Uniform Building Code provides that all permits <br />expire by limitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any <br />time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent the permit <br />from expiring without documentation of completion, you may: <br />or <br />�.r <br />1) Request an inspection of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />2) Request final inspection if the work is completed, <br />3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please respond within 10 days.
