I overlaid the plans
and have captured it below for your review (in the blue box):
1-8"x6" TEE (MJxFL)
N 370806.93-- 1-6" GATE VALVE (FLx J)
E 1310039.00 19 LF 6" D.I. VP
When we approved the original plans, the fire hydrants were placed in this area because it was loading zone/fire lane
with no parking. Whenever there is parking, the fire hydrant must be located at the tip of the curb island rather than
blocked in behind vehicles. Therefore, your parking would need to be shifted over to the south by about 4-5 stalls in
order to keep the FDC and fire hydrant clear. Please revise sheet A0.1 with a new parking layout, and please include a
shaded back water plan to show where the hydrant, water lines, and FDC are located in relation to the parking. Once
revised, please submit 2 full size sheets of revised A0.1 to be slip sheeted at the permit counter. Myself and Fire will
need to review and approve, then the permit technicians can prepare the permits for issuance.
(2//E7
