Out-of-plane design details and permit calculations appear indicate that the exterior <br /> masonry veneer exceeds 12'-0"limit for wood construction support as well as exceeds the <br /> deflection of limit of L/600 per ACI 530-13 Sec 12.2.2.3.1.5. Please revise the design and <br /> calculations as required. <br /> 3. On Detail 11/S3.1, a steel elevation is shown. It is unclear in the drawings how these <br /> members are to be connected (i.e. welds or bolts). Please provide additional details <br /> addressing these connections, as well as details of the steel frame sitting within the wall <br /> cavity. IBC 107.2.1 <br /> 4. From Sheet S2.1, there is a callout that additional grout is to be added per 12/S3.1 on the <br /> east side of the structure, please verify with calculations if additional reinforcement of the <br /> diagram and connections are required as a result of the increase in weight in these areas. <br /> IBC 1604. <br /> 5.
