It appears that brick veneer is being used around the openings at the first floor
level. Please provide details for out -of -plane anchorage of brick veneer around
these openings.
A detail has been added to the plans. The details are 8/S3.2 and 9/S3.2 and have been
bubbled to indicate a revision to the set.
2. The floor to floor height from the ground floor level to second floor is
approximately 14'-0". Please verify if guiderail support posts are required at these
locations.
We will need to coordinate with the Elevator Manufacturer whether or not guiderail
supports are required and if so the loads needed for design. Elevator manufacturer is to
supply all auxiliary framing for elevator operation except for elevator hoist beam.
3. Details 8/S3.1 and 9/S3.1 are provided, but do not seem to occur on plan S3.0.
Please verify if these conditions occur in this structure and if so, please provide
computations indicating that the overstrength factor (D) is accounted for as these
conditions depict vertical load transfer of lateral design loads. Walls may be
discontinuous to the levels below.
U'H0'\
S'1 11 GR 11 \1. 0 F1. E'SGI\EVRS
