This property is zoned UM and subject to the development standards of <br /> EMC 19.20.The proposed exterior improvements appear to meet the <br /> "minor exterior alteration" provisions outlined in EMC 19.20.100 however <br /> we need documentation in the file that the estimated cost of work for these <br /> improvements doesn't exceed 50%of the valuation.The contract price of <br /> work provided with your application encompasses the interior <br /> improvements as well. Please provide a breakout estimate specific to the <br /> price of work for the exterior improvements(new storefront/porch, <br /> elevator overrun)to document in the file the exterior improvements meet <br /> the minor exterior alteration definition. <br /> 2. Elevator equipment must be screened in accordance with EMC 19.39.040.C. <br /> The height of the screening must be at least as high as the rooftop <br /> appurtenance and screening shall consist of materials similar to those used <br /> for the building façade.
