The proposed project should comply with the requirements of the 2015 International <br /> Building Code (IBC) and the 2015 International Existing Building Code (IEBC). The IEBC <br /> should be specified in the"Applicable Codes"section on Sheet A00.01. See the Everett <br /> Municipal Code Section 16.005.030 Article A, IBC Sections 101.4.7 and 107.2.1, and <br /> IEBC 106.2.1. <br /> ANSWER: 2015 International Existing Building Code(IEBC)has been added <br /> to the 'APPLICABLE CODES"section on the Cover Sheet A00.01. <br /> 2. The"Existing Building Code Analysis"section on Sheet A00.11 states that the project is <br /> a Level 2 Alteration, but specifies Level 1 Alteration criteria per Chapter 7. Based on a <br /> review of the construction drawings, the proposed project is a Level 2 Alternations <br /> (Chapter 8). Additional criteria per Chapter 8 should be specified. See IEBC Sections <br /> 301.1 and 504. <br /> ANSWER: "EXISTING BUILDING CODE ANALYSIS"section on sheet A00.11 <br /> has been updated to include Level 2 Alteration criteria per Chapter 8. <br /> 3. The Roof Plan on Sheet A21.11 indicates an existing roof access hatch near Grid E/3; <br /> see also Keynote. However, the drafting line weights appear to indicate the hatch is <br /> new. Previous work performed per Permit No. B1402-011 include a roof plan that does <br /> not show the hatch. Note that the background layer in the Roof Framing Plan on Sheet <br /> S21.02 states"Roof Access"at a location northwest of the specified location for the <br /> existing hatch.
