Please review and respond to the comments below. <br /> ARCHITECTURAL <br /> 1. The proposed ramp appears to provide an accessible route to the proposed <br /> mail room space. Please verify that the exterior route clear distance per WA <br /> amended IBC 1101.2.1 is a minimum of 44" as it appears to indicate 39"on the <br /> plans. <br /> 2. Please provide details and sections for the portion of the ramp denoted on <br /> the plans"new concrete walk,steps & ramp". This is unclear as it currently <br /> does not convey the design intent of these components in a manner that is <br /> similar to Section 2/A1.2. Per IBC 1104.1,the ramp appears to be part of an <br /> accessible route, please verify that the accessibility of the ramp from the public <br /> way meets the provisions of ICC A117.1 Sec 303 where a change in level <br /> appears to be occurring. Please revise plans and details as required. <br /> 3. The rise of the proposed exterior ramp appears to exceed 6" per IBC 1012.8. <br /> Please verify that the proposed ramp is provided with handrails per IBC 1014. <br /> Please provide details on the plans that meet these requirements. <br /> 4. Please verify that edge protection for the proposed ramp is provided per IBC <br /> 1012.10 as this is unclear in the construction drawings. Please revise drawings <br /> and details as required. <br /> PERMIT SERVICES <br /> 5.The configuration of the proposed exterior stairway appears to require <br /> 9 3200 Cedar Street handrails per IBC 1011.11. Please provide details on the plans that indicate that <br /> Everett,WA 98201 the handrails meet the requirements of IBC 1014. <br /> O425.257.8810 In order for the processing of your application to continue,it will be necessary <br /> 425.257.8857 fax <br /> to provide the Building Division with two new sets of revised construction <br /> everetteps@everettwa.gov documents reflecting the corrections requested.
