BLACK BOX City of Everett, WA:VoIP Consulting Statement of Work City of Everett, WA. 1. Executive Overview and Project Objective The City of Everett, Washington is upgrading their NEC SV8500 to a NEC SV9500.To accomplish this goal Black Box Network Services will assist in the configuration of voice VLAN's, 40S settings and scripting.This will be done remotely for the EMB data center and Fire administration building.This consulting engagement will allow the city of Everett's engineers to rollout configurations to their remaining networks. 2.Scope and Approach To aid the City of Everett with recommendations to the Cisco network environment, Black Box will: • Participate in discovery and design discussions to uncover the needs and goals of the changes to the network • Ask questions and work to understand the business needs the City of Everett to provide recommendations for areas to improve • Provide configuration advice and best practices for VolP implementation • Manage the overall engagement and schedule with a Project Manager 3. Deliverables • Aid in configuration of EMB data center and Fire administration building • Aid in the production of scripting for rollout to the rest of the buildings 4.Assumptions • The timeline and cost estimates included in this SOW are based in part on the following project assumptions. Any changes to these assumptions may necessitate a change in the project timeline and/or cost 4..1. Black 13ox Network Services Responsibilities To ensure the high quality and success of the engagement, Black Box Network Services will: • Engage a remote engineer with the required technical capabilities and experience in equipment configurations implementation and specifically in the technologies included in this project • Provide the proper levels of project management including but not limited to status reporting, and problem, issue, and risk management • Work with City of Everett,WA throughout the engagement to meet objectives and to complete the process on time and in alignment with expressed needs and goals 4,2. City of Everett, WA Responsibilities Contributions from City of Everett,WA are expected to include: • Providing access to appropriate IT resources, IT staff and other applicable staff to complete the project in a timely manner • Provide a single point of contact for project coordination, approvals, and scheduling 5.
