SECTION 2 - SPECIFICATIONS <br />2.1 INTENT <br />The City of Everett requires maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) parts for the Public Works <br />department water and sewer program. <br />2.2 MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, AND OPERATING (MRO) PARTS REQUIREMENTS <br />The categories listed provide a general, non -inclusive description of the required materials and <br />should not be considered restrictive. Form 3.02 Price Sheets will list specific part numbers, <br />descriptions, and desired or required manufacturers. All products offered shall be new, unused, <br />and of the latest design and technology. <br />City of Everett part numbers provided in Form 3.02 are included for internal inventory purposes <br />and provide no discernable information regarding the characteristics of the requested parts. <br />• Category 1: PVC Connections <br />• Category 2: Brass Fittings <br />• Category 3: Hydrants. All hydrants must conform with Everett Specifications #507 and <br />#511, as shown in Appendix A and Appendix B respectively. <br />• Category 4: Valves <br />• Category 5: Service Saddles <br />• Category 6: Sleeves & Couplings <br />• Category 7: Pipe & Fittings <br />• Category 8: Valve & Meter Boxes <br />• Category 9: Small Brass <br />2.3 ORDERING <br />A. Parts may not be ordered and delivered without a valid purchase order. Parts furnished under <br />this contract will ordered by issuance of a purchase order to the supplier. <br />B. Orders may be placed at any time during the contract period. <br />C. Suppliers must deliver all part orders placed against this solicitation within 5 business days of <br />receipt of City Purchase Order or have all parts available for pickup at the closest Supplier <br />location. <br />D. All communications concerning administration of purchase orders placed shall be furnished <br />solely to the authorized Procurement Professional or to such other individual identified in <br />writing in the purchase order. <br />E. In the event delivery cannot be made by the required delivery date after order is place, the <br />supplier must notify the city's Procurement Professional and inventory control tech <br />immediately when known in writing. <br />9 <br />
