V . . ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE amending Title 15.04, City Code of the City of Everett, known as Ordinance No. 3572, entitled "An Ordinance regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings and land within the City of Everett; limiting the height of buildings; prescribing building lines and size of yard and other open spaces; providing for the division of the City into use zones; creating a Board of Adjustment; and providing for penalties for violation of the Ordinance", by amending Section 15 .04.040 and adding thereto, a new section to be known as Section 15.04.073, providing for the creation of an Agricultural Use Zone and amending the zone map of the City of Everett, also designated as "use map" of the City of Everett, as established by Section 15.04.040, Everett City Code, to provide for the zoning of newly annexed territory to the City of Everett, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon a recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, has determined after public hearing, that said amendments are in harmony with the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use for the City, and the City Council having determined that said amendments are required by public interest in furtherance of the purpose of the act. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 15.04.040, City Code of the City of Everett, is amended to read as follows : "15.04.040 Establishment of Mapped Zones: For the purposes of this ordinance, the City of Everett is hereby divided into thirteen categories of zones designated as follows : Agricultural Use Zone A-1 Single-family Suburban Residential Zone H-S Single-family Low Density Residence Zone R-1 Single-family High Density Residence Zone R-2 Multiple-family Low Density Residence Zone R-3 Multiple-family High Density Residence Zone R-4 Neighborhood Shopping Zone B-1 Community Shopping Zone B-2 Central Business Zone B-3 General Commercial Zone C-1 Heavy Commercial-Light Manufacturing Zone C-2 Heavy Manufacturing Zone M-1 Landing Field Zone L-F The above categories of zones and the boundaries of such zones are hereby established as shown on the map entitled "Everett Zoning Map" . Said map or parts thereof, are hereby made a part of this ordinance . The zoning map and each amendment thereto, when duly certified, shall be filed in the office of the City Clerk. Where uncertainty exists as to any of such boundaries, as shown on said map, the following rules shall apply: 1. Where such boundaries are indicated as approximately T`ollowing the centerline of roads, streets, highways, alleys, railroads, or streams, such centerlines shall be construed to be such boundaries .
