V . <br /> . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Title 15.04, City Code of the <br /> City of Everett, known as Ordinance No. 3572, entitled "An <br /> Ordinance regulating and restricting the location and use of <br /> buildings and land within the City of Everett; limiting the height <br /> of buildings; prescribing building lines and size of yard and <br /> other open spaces; providing for the division of the City into <br /> use zones; creating a Board of Adjustment; and providing for <br /> penalties for violation of the Ordinance", by amending Section <br /> 15 .04.040 and adding thereto, a new section to be known as <br /> Section 15.04.073, providing for the creation of an Agricultural <br /> Use Zone and amending the zone map of the City of Everett, also <br /> designated as "use map" of the City of Everett, as established <br /> by Section 15.04.040, Everett City Code, to provide for the zoning <br /> of newly annexed territory to the City of Everett, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett, upon <br /> a recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Everett, <br /> has determined after public hearing, that said amendments are in <br /> harmony with the Comprehensive Plan of Land Use for the City, and <br /> the City Council having determined that said amendments are <br /> required by public interest in furtherance of the purpose of the <br /> act. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 15.04.040, City Code of the <br /> City of Everett, is amended to read as follows : <br /> "15.04.040 Establishment of Mapped Zones: <br /> For the purposes of this ordinance, the City of Everett <br /> is hereby divided into thirteen categories of zones designated as <br /> follows : <br /> Agricultural Use Zone A-1 <br /> Single-family Suburban Residential Zone H-S <br /> Single-family Low Density Residence Zone R-1 <br /> Single-family High Density Residence Zone R-2 <br /> Multiple-family Low Density Residence Zone R-3 <br /> Multiple-family High Density Residence Zone R-4 <br /> Neighborhood Shopping Zone B-1 <br /> Community Shopping Zone B-2 <br /> Central Business Zone B-3 <br /> General Commercial Zone C-1 <br /> Heavy Commercial-Light Manufacturing Zone C-2 <br /> Heavy Manufacturing Zone M-1 <br /> Landing Field Zone L-F <br /> The above categories of zones and the boundaries of such <br /> zones are hereby established as shown on the map entitled "Everett <br /> Zoning Map" . Said map or parts thereof, are hereby made a part <br /> of this ordinance . The zoning map and each amendment thereto, <br /> when duly certified, shall be filed in the office of the City <br /> Clerk. <br /> Where uncertainty exists as to any of such boundaries, <br /> as shown on said map, the following rules shall apply: <br /> 1. Where such boundaries are indicated as approximately <br /> T`ollowing the centerline of roads, streets, highways, <br /> alleys, railroads, or streams, such centerlines shall <br /> be construed to be such boundaries . <br />
