The entire Everett community is encouraged to read "Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You" by Jason Reynolds and Dr. lbram X. Kendi. There is a series of programs including a virtual keynote presentation with the authors, storytimes, lectures, and book discussion groups. The total cost of the program is $31,750. Everett Public Schools, ECC and WSU- Everett have each committed to contribute $5,000. This reappropriation requests to carry forward $10,000 to help pay for this program. The balance of $6,750 will be paid from the Library's original 2021 budget.
