CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> 7-20.3(5) Cutting Pipe <br /> Cut pipe in accordance with 7-09.3(14) of the Standard Specifications and these Special <br /> Provisions. <br /> 7-20.3(6) Laying of Pipe on Curves <br /> Lay pipe on curves in accordance with 7-09.3(15) of the Standard Specifications and these <br /> Special Provisions. <br /> 7-20.3(7) Detectable Marking Tape <br /> For nonmetallic pipe, provide detectable marking tape in accordance with 7-09.3(20) of the <br /> Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions. <br /> 7-20.3(8) Cleaning and Assembling Joint <br /> Clean and assemble pipe ends, couplings, fittings and appurtenances in accordance with 7- <br /> 09.3(16) of the Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions. <br /> 7-20.3(9) Concrete Thrust Blocking <br /> Provide concrete thrust blocking, if Shown, in accordance with 7-09.3(21) of the Standard <br /> Specifications and these Special Provisions. <br /> 7-20.3(10) Restrained Joints <br /> Provide restrained joints as Shown and in accordance with 7-09.3(25) of these Special <br /> Provisions. <br /> 7-20.3(11) Hydrostatic Pressure Test <br /> Test sanitary sewer forcemains in accordance with 7-09.3(23)of the Standard Specifications and <br /> these Special Provisions. <br /> 7-20.3(12) Cathodic Protection and Joint Bonding <br /> Electric continuity bonding cables shall be installed across all buried metallic inline valves, flexible <br /> couplers and pipe joints that are not circumferentially welded. <br /> All bonding cables shall be stranded copper wire with insulation rated at 600 volts. Cables with <br /> cut or damaged insulation is not acceptable. ' <br /> All cable-to-pipe connections shall be made using exothermic welds. <br /> 7-20.3(13) Field Applied Coatings—Wax Tape <br /> A wax tape coating system to be used on all valve and sleeve coupling connections and applied <br /> per manufactures recommendations.
