Grout to be neat cement grout or approved equal. <br /> b. Grout to be suitable for underwater installation and displacement of water within the <br /> annual space. <br /> c. Grout to Contain cement, water, and possibly a flowability performance-enhancing <br /> additive such as flyash, silica fume, chemical dispersants, or thixotropic agents and <br /> ' blended with pregenerated aqueous foam to form macroscopic noninterconnected air <br /> cells uniformly distributed throughout grout. <br /> 8-31.3(7)B General: <br /> a. Grout shall be placed within 48 hours of sliplining. <br /> b. Seal annular space between liner pipe and host pipe with grout in accordance with <br /> grouting submittal. <br /> ' c. Liner pipe shall serve as inside form for grout placement. <br /> d. Unless otherwise approved by Engineer, grouting shall proceed uninterrupted from <br /> bulkhead to bulkhead. <br /> ' e. Ensure that the Lining Pipe does not float during grouting operations by filling pipe with <br /> water or other approved measures. <br /> f. Provide intended procedure, as approved by Engineer, to verify grout has filled annular <br /> ' space. <br /> 8-31.3(7)C Bulkheads, Outfall end: <br /> a. 2017 video indicated an alternative construction method for approximately the last 15 to <br /> ' 20 feet of outfall pipe that may not be structurally sound to withstand grouting pressures <br /> without failure. <br /> b. Contractor to evaluate the condition of this section to determine grouting feasibility. <br /> ' c. In the event that this section cannot be grouted, contractor to construct a grout plug or <br /> bulkhead within the outfall pipe, at a section with proper shape and structural integrity, <br /> closest to the outfall end. <br /> ' d.
