I <br /> ICITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> DIVISION 1 — GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> ISupplement Division 1 by adding the following: <br /> I General Description and Location of Project <br /> (******) <br /> Work being performed includes furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct <br /> I approximately 120 linear feet of 30" diameter ductile iron sanitary sewer pipe including fittings and <br /> valves, construction of a new saddle manhole on an existing 60" diameter sewer pipe, installing <br /> approximately 260 linear feet of 48" diameter HDPE pipe by slip-line methods, and other such <br /> appurtenances and performing all Work as required by the Contract, in accordance with the Contract <br /> 1 Plans and Contract Provisions. <br /> The Project is in Everett, Washington, and is generally located on 36th Street at Eclipse Mill Road and <br /> adjacent to the Snohomish River. <br /> IDesign Engineer <br /> (******) <br /> I Questions and inquiries about these Contract Documents should be directed in writing to the attention <br /> of Dave Voigt, P.E., City Project Manager, dvoigt@everettwa.gov. <br /> Standard Specifications <br /> I (******) <br /> All Work under this Contract shall be performed in accordance with the following Specifications except <br /> as may be exempted or modified by other sections of these Contract Documents. These <br /> I Specifications are incorporated by reference, made a part of this Contract and shall control and guide <br /> all activities within this Project whether referred to directly, paragraph by paragraph. <br /> WSDOT/APWA"2020 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction", as <br /> I amended, hereinafter referred to as the "Standard Specifications." <br /> The Standard Specifications, as modified or supplemented by the Amendments to the Standard <br /> Specifications and these Special Provisions, all of which are made a part of the Contract Documents, <br /> shall govern all of the Work. The following latest edition of other specifications and standard plans <br /> I <br /> shall apply to the extent to which they are called out in these Plans and Special Provisions. <br /> (i) 1. "Standard Plans for Road and Bridge Construction", as prepared by WSDOT. <br /> I (I) 4. "Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)." <br /> (m)5. APWA Standards. <br /> (n) 6. AWWA Standards. <br /> I Each Provision of these Special Provisions either supplements, modifies, or replaces the comparable <br /> Standard Specification, or is a new Provision.
