The project includes a kitchen and restroom (i.e., Rooms 108 and 109) that are identified on Sheets <br />A1.0 and A2.0 as future work that is not in the current contract (NIC). The reflected ceiling demolition <br />on Sheet AD2.0 should be similarly identified as NIC. Elevations and Room 109 on Sheet A7:0 <br />should be removed. Alternatively, NIC-references should be removed Sheets A1.0 and A2.0. See <br />IBC Section 107.2.1. <br />See revised Sheets AD1.0, AD2.0, A1.0 and A2.0. <br />2. The proposed project includes a single -user unisex Toilet Room 109. The proposed space has an <br />occupant load of 35 per the `Project Data' section on Sheet G1.0. Separate facilities should be <br />provided for each sex. Alternatively, document should be submitted for review substantiating that the <br />proposed restroom is not required (i.e., existing restroom facilities are adequate for the occupant load <br />in the proposed work area. The facilities supporting the work area should be identified in the Key <br />Plan on Sheet G1.1. See IBC Sections 2902.1 and 2902.2 Exception 2. <br />The Clinical Analytics Group is part of the same hospital tenant function of the hospital <br />building. Section 2902.3.2.2 allows supporting public and employee restroom facilities to be <br />located one floor above or one floor below the work area, which also is within a 500 foot travel <br />distance. See revised Sheet G1.1 First Floor Key Plan and added Sheet G1.2 Second Floor Key <br />Plan identifying existing restroom facilities that support this work area without the proposed <br />new Toilet Room 109. <br />3. Access to Toilet Room 109 is provided through Kitchen 108. This is not permitted and should be <br />revised.
