0 !
B2006-26: Corrections 2
*** I am only including drawings where I made modifications which include: Site Plan,
Basement Plan, First Floor Plan, Second Floor Plan and Front Door Elevation. In addition, I am
adding Construction Drawings A-D per your request. Kitchen elevations are not included as there
were no changes in this submission. Please refer to Kitchen elevations from the last
submission * * *
1. Addressed
2. Addressed
3. Addressed
4. Addressed
5. Addressed
6. Correction 1: We did have to replace the front shingles where there was rot
near the front entry. Upon further inspection, this was isolated to the shingles
themselves. The only framing repair we did was around the front window like
and kind. We redesigned the front entry way, but this is purely cosmetic and
has nothing do with repairing framing. I included an elevation so you can get
an idea. Correction 2: There were NO shear walls. As I've mentioned, the
calculations on the original are irrelevant and should be discarded. This is why
I redid the entire drawings during Corrections 1 to reflect the scope of the
work. In addition to the shingle and casement repairs above, the ONLY thing
that is being modified are the columns on the front design. The existing
decorative columns are round. We replaced with decorative square columns (I
updated the drawing to note this. Nothing structural -all cosmetic.
7. Addressed
8. Correction 1 Regarding 2x4's and load bearing. We have not subtracts any
of the existing framing. WCG reinforced some of it, but nothing had affected
#hA 1^aA 6 ^---A^^n -moned. Pri r +^ my :%r%n •mil 1.AJCG did add framing alongside
the exterior walls (concrete) and added foam insulation. The ceilings are 92"
and all spaces are compliant with IRC R106.1.1, R304, R305. Carr§
2: See Construction Drawing A
9. Addressed
10.Addressed
11.Addressed
12. Correction 1: You're assumption here is partially correct. We plan to add
guardrails between the stairs. Otherwise, both are surrounded by
walls. Correction 2: I have added a 2nd note on the site plan regarding
guardrails. In addition, pleas see C #r...+:,R. D-- -M , -P TK pk.RIA K^
adequate to address this.
13. Addressed
14.Correction 1: This is regarding. i.^.cl+.,•,^+,..A r+ t.;,r f., w, ±
navigate. The R-5 he is referring to is a foam insulation against slab concrete.
Th-3f is ► nht rosy. verg i have hired a Hcensed, bonded insulation
specialist who is waiting to complete this. Perhaps this could be addressed
