•
Task 3—Field inspect the study area
The study area has been inspected by the design team. The site is dirt only as the previously
existing house has been demolished and the land excavated for the proposed development. There
does not appear to be any drainage problems on the site. The field inspection was conducted
mid-day, on December 17,2018. The weather was overcast.
Task 4—Describe the drainage system, and its existing and predicted problems
The drainage system appears to be functioning properly. There are no known drainage issues,
and it is not anticipated that the current system will experience any future problems.
This project intends to install a Perforated Pipe Stub-out Connection per BMP T5.10C for
stormwater management and as such the existing stormwater and combined sewer utility should
be up to date per the City of Everett maintenance.
3.1.4 Determination of Applicable Minimum Requirements: Vol 1,Section 3.1.4
This project proposes less than 5,000 square feet of new hard surface and thus triggers the
evaluation of minimum requirements 1-5.
3.1.5 Preparation of Permanent Stormwater Control Plan: Vol 1, Section 3.1.5
• Existing Site Hydrology
The site is currently vacant of structures and is primarily occupied by dirt. Runoff from the site
likely disperses within the existing vegetated cover on the perimeter outside the property lines
edging the street and is collected by the catch basin located in Columbia Ave.
• Developed Site Hydrology
The runoff on site after the proposed development is installed will be collected and conveyed to
the combined sewer and stormwater utility on Columbia Ave.
a. Summary Section
This project proposes less than 5,000 sf of new and replaced impervious surface, and less than
5,000 sf of new and replaced pollution generating hard surface. This project intends to address
minimum requirements 1-5. The Drainage plan provides details on the stormwater design for this
project.
b. Performance Standards and Goals
This project is exempt from meeting the LID performance standard.
c. Low Impact Development Features
This project is exempt from meeting the LID performance standard and therefore does not
propose any LID BMP's.
d. Flow Control System
Flow control is not required for this project.
e. Water Quality System
NA-
f. Conveyance System Analysis
Columbia Ave appears to have a conveyance system that is the combined sewer and stoitnwater
utility.
